STA Travel UK adds new Booking Engine and Shopping Cart functionality to its web site using XYKA's eTravel Platform.

The UK division of STA Travel has overhauled its current website using XYKA's eTravel Platform. STA Travel now uses XYKA's online booking engine to book negotiated and published fare flights. In addition XYKA has developed shopping cart functionality which allows website users to combine flights, ISIC or IYTC discount cards, travel insurance, rail passes and visas and pay for them in one transaction.

"The goal over here was to increase online sales and provide STA Travel with a stable and a competitive platform on which they can grow" said Nirav Chhatrapati, President of XYKA.
