Challenge
 Blue Shield's internally developed product for capturing benefits needed significant enhancements to meet the changing business requirements for the Benefit Capture Application. These enhancements were crucial to Blue Shield to enhance their overall customer experience in its member site www.mylifepath.com.

The complex nature of the application and its rigid architecture made this task extremely challenging. Blue Shield choose XYKA (formerly CATSi) over other vendors because of XYKA's highly trained staff, its technological expertise, domain knowledge, and reduced cost by utilizing its offshore development center.

Solution
 XYKA helped the client gather requirements, designed and developed the application enhancements. XYKA performed comprehensive testing of the application. XYKA went a step ahead of client requirements by not only providing the functional enhancements, but also revamping and stabilizing the architecture. XYKA developed an advanced admin interface reducing IT maintenance by 70%. XYKA also preformed rigorous testing for performance and optimized it for faster responses. XYKA also made usability enhancements significantly increasing the productivity of the users.
